Several Chapter Events are happening soon:

The Capitol Area Chapter of the Association of the United States Army will hold its monthly meeting on December 2, 2015 in building 8 at Camp Mabry.  This meeting will feature Mr. Thomas P. Palladino, Executive Director of the Texas Veterans Commission.  Mr. Palladino will present a program on the many benefits and services provided to Texas Veterans.  A few of the services available include assistance with Claims with the VA, Employment Services, and Education Assistance.  Veterans are encouraged to attend to learn more of the many services and benefits that are available.  Veterans are also encouraged to visit the Commission website at to learn more. We (MOPH all branches all ranks) are invited. This is not an opportunity to vent, but a very good opportunity to listen and ask any questions. This is where you start with any VA benefit or problem question.

Please check the Other Scheduled Events page for changes to our events, we may have additional events and our meetings may need to be rescheduled due to conflicts.

Texas Capital Chapter 1919, Military Order of the Purple Heart, takes the lead with projects, in addition to our permanent Purple Santa Program, that are supportive of America’s currently deployed military, veterans of all wars, veterans’ families, and community youth sports; and acts in concert with other organizations that share these worthy objectives.  Projects are limited in scope only by the resources available and donations are always welcome.  Chapter 1919 pledges to apply 100 percent of contributions received to the project designated. We believe that these projects support the needs of veterans and provide maximum use of your support. Review the overview provided for our current initiatives and please support them.
